Of course these aren't heated, as the packaging says, except by your feet. But they're nice and warm. They're made to look like thick wool socks on the outside, but they're 95% acrylic with no wool. The acrylic is brushed inside to make it fuzzy, which traps air and makes for good insulation.I got the Large size. I usually wear men's 9.5 or 10 shoes. These are huge, plenty big for much larger feet, but they fit mine OK, at least without shoes. I've tried Mediums in this kind of sock and they fit me fine too, and are similarly bulky.They won't fit well in most of my shoes, only in some loose mud boots. That's OK, as I intend to use them mainly as house socks.I find them sweaty by themselves, so I wear them over other socks that wick well.The toe seams are large but embedded in the fuzz, so probably won't bother anyone.The care instructions are to machine wash warm, no bleach, no tumble dry, no iron. I've tumble dried similar socks with no trouble, though. I use low heat and remove them before they're completely dry.RTZAT is a recent brand from China.
