UPDATE: 12/19/20 Well I'm changing that from 5 stars to 2 stars. We just installed our last one and in 9 months have only had these 4 belts! It's too fast. At first they seemed well made and the first belt lasted the longest. All 3 belts have failed since my August check so we are on the 4th and last. The original OEM belts seemed to last a few years so this is just not acceptable. & we don't even return every day! I still give 2 stars because they are technically suitable and, if necessary, work for a decent price. This burnt smell comes on quickly and cannot be rescued or swept away once it starts. We tried it. I remember OEM belts wearing out slowly, which gave us time to replace. I am annoyed that my husband threw away our older Orek who only had to replace part of the handle because we found belts for this sweeper here. They didn't last as long as the OEM but they definitely lasted longer than these. I feel bad for recommending them for 5 stars for so long. UPDATE: 8/26/20 The first belt is still working fine. There is no smell of burning. Excited it fits. We recommend and are happy with our purchase. I will update if anything changes. ORIGINAL: We have an Oreck sweeper that needs a new belt. It was a good price and we were glad more than one strap was included. We replaced the old burned one in its place and put the extra one in the slot that the extra security strap fits in for quick future use. They are well made and have a good width and thickness. The old camp belt that we received for comparison next to this one in my husband's hand can be seen in the two photos. One side of the old one had melted, the other didn't. We couldn't tell much of a difference in size or quality between the two, which is what we were hoping for. It's been 2 months and the belt still works great. It no longer smells burnt and the sweeper works well. We took photos during the belt change and hope they help you understand what to expect personally. We recommend these belts.
