Can withstand the abuse of a small child!
Bought for my son who studies the world and continents at school. He sings his song of the continent and points out various ones. Came here to review this for others who may be buying this for their younger children who are gross with toys to ensure you know it can withstand some abuse. My son dropped it several times and it didn't break. The base fell off once but it was easy to assemble.
- Globe depicts modern earth cartography with light blue oceans and colorful land masses with political borders. Continents, countries, oceans and country borders are clearly marked on the world map. It also has easy-to-read parallel grids for longitude, latitude, equator, and meridian.
