I have worn the watch for less than a week. I noticed that some of the links near the clasp had worn off the navy blue rim. I contacted the seller, explained the situation, said I liked the watch, asked if this was a common occurrence and if so if they could replace the strap. I received a reply stating that the worn finish was probably due to exposure to heat or lotions. It wasn't like that. In fact, I only wear a watch to the office so I don't get late for appointments. When I get home I take off my watch. I have sent the requested photos along with the photos of the EBEL watch which I bought at the same time as the Movado BOLD. I have never received any response from this seller other than claiming that I had to expose the watch to heat or lotions. Movado is an expensive, reputable brand. This provider does not exist!
