Good speakers, excellent sound quality, same as the other headphones in my RP series. However, it did not fulfill the main function of creating an atmospheric effect over the head. I tried different settings; On floorstanding speakers (that's how it should work) on media center furniture, for example 6 inches lower than the top of the floorstanding speaker and even 8 inches above the floorstanding speaker to no avail, my listening point is almost 10ft in front of the speakers. I could hear the impact of the atmospheric soundtrack, but practically from the front it felt more directional than overhead. They were not centered due to the limited space between my 84 inch projection screen and the walls/ceiling. The image showing my reduced space with the screen rolled up has a 49 inch LG TV under that screen which I will be upgrading to a 65 model in the future, the other image shows the Atmos speakers attached to my Media -Center furniture is mounted, the speakers don't interfere with the screen, but for me there is no overlap effect (I was willing to sacrifice part of the screen if I could get the ambient effect of sitting on the speakers). The Onkyo receiver was recalibrated and set to Atmos as soon as I connected these speakers. I really tried. Like them, they have amazing sound quality and nice finishes, but for me there is no sound effect on top. Unfortunately I will end up returning these speakers and as the ceiling speakers will not fit as I am a renter I will look for smaller front speakers to fit my space or just leave them nice and tight at 5.1.
