Bought to replace an $80 mask that was constantly leaking. A baking soda solution and a small sponge were used to clean and polish the inner surface of the lens. Spent 2 hours underwater wearing this mask last Saturday and Sunday. I honestly feared it would leak. My last dives were for my open water diving certification. The performance of the mask was excellent. Do not wear a fog at the beginning of each dive. Three out of four dives required flooding and mask cleaning to the point of complete mask removal. Evan, with all this customization, I haven't had any leaks. Although this is the cheapest mask I have, it works the best. I had the opportunity to clean my ears with 3mm thick gloves. Although untested, glove thicknesses of 5mm or more can pose a problem.
