Review on Thermometer Wireless Roaprobe Bluetooth Grilling by Laura Valenzuela

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Must for smoking brisket

So I got myself a pellet grill. I'm still trying to figure out how to grill steaks (compared to my previous charcoal grill). In the meantime I tried the brisket. The first try was ok and the family gave it an 80% rating. It was a bit dry because I was taking a nap after dinner and the temperature in the meat got too high before I got to the brisket and wrapped it. A wireless thermometer with an app has become indispensable. It was very easy to set up. Turn on the thermometer, plug in the probe, and get instant temperature readings. Download the cloudbbq app from the Apple Store, give the app permission for notifications and bluetooth, and almost instantly it will find the thermometer and you can see the temperature in the app. The interface is extremely easy to use - click on the appropriate icons to set the time or set temperature-based alerts. There are presets for different products (meat) that can be adjusted. The Bluetooth range is excellent. I went upstairs and walked around, didn't lose connection at all. I turned off the thermometer to put it away and my phone started beeping. This app warns me that the thermometer has gone offline. This is important because you'll get an alert if for some reason the app stops getting information from the thermometer and requires user intervention. By the way, for such enthusiasts, the application can provide a graph of temperatures measured by sensors. This is very useful when smoking meat to see how the internal temperature increases over time. Although I've used it on brisket, I look forward to using it on pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, sweet potatoes, etc.
