Review on Hagibis Enclosure Docking MC25 Pro by Richard Eledge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as expected with some minor issues

This mostly works as promised, but there are definitely a few things that could be improved with it, especially considering the relatively high price Pros: - Aesthetically it's gorgeous It perfectly matches the look of the Mac mini and goes very well with the Mac-centric setup All data ports are stuffed with 10GB so performance doesn't stay on the table considering that it's still USB only Cons: - Documentation Regarding the initial setup, while the guide is simple if you know what you're doing, in my opinion the installation process should have worked for both drives and not nu r can be better broken down for the 2.5 inch drive. The drive bay is small and not well ventilated. Under heavy use, the discs will definitely get hot inside. I think an active cooling solution would be better. I really don't recommend installing two drives at the same time if you use them heavily. If you decide to install two drives, you need an external power supply unit, and currently there is not even a cable for this power supply unit.

Pros
  • Multiple interfaces: Hagibis Mac Mini Dock with M.2 NVMe/NGFF, 2.5" SATA 10Gb/s USB3.1 Gen2 10Gb/s hard drive enclosure with USB-C, 2 5Gbps USB3.0 , SD/Micro SD card slot Various interfaces to meet all your needs
Cons
  • Sad hardware
