I liked the price and the choice of elastic cords but these were disappointing. I wouldn't recommend protecting anything where security or reliability is required. If you look at the first picture you can see how the elastic has already come off the hook after being wrapped tightly (but not tightly) around an item on my covered porch. This happened in less than a couple of months. The second photo shows where the plastic tip broke off the hook. It looks like the metal bar doesn't run the full length of the hook. I wouldn't trust them with any important work, and I'll definitely make sure to tighten them up lest I get hit if they suddenly fail. .
