I give the outer shell of this bag five stars. It is smooth and durable and has no unpleasant odor. Unfortunately I'm only giving the balaclava one star - its only benefit is that it's removable. Thanks to this I was able to remove it, open it and reconstruct it. The zippers are completely useless - after a few un-zips they came loose and I couldn't re-zip them. The middle or dividing part of the inner liner itself is a zipped compartment that is almost impossible to use unless you are planning on stuffing something very flat inside. Anything else will make it limp and sagging, rendering it useless as a divider. I removed the divider and replaced the side zipper with a stronger one. It's functional now and I enjoy using it.
