Honest experience with this product. The installation instructions are not very good. They have small images scattered across the small piece of paper with no logical order from start to finish. But the owner of the jeep can understand it our way. The product has two velcro straps on one side which are not specified in the instructions so it is not clear what to do with them. It is easier to install this product if you remove the top parts of the roof - otherwise it is almost impossible to line up and tighten the large velcro straps - this is not mentioned in the instructions. The product comes with small pads that cover the gripping area of the handle, but due to the size and location of the Velcro, you cannot tightly wrap them around the handle. The product looks durable and well tailored, and the stitching is well done. I like that the handle can be positioned so I can bend my elbow 90 degrees - it's more comfortable for me. I like that the product can slide along the crossbar to position the passenger/driver individually. The product comes with two small pouches that don't seem very functional. I removed them because they just made the installation more difficult. I might try putting one of these on the driver's side to hold a pen.
