I have an Audio-Technica AT2035 and a Shure PG42. Both microphones are condenser microphones. This is the cheapest mic of them all, but I have to say that maybe I like it the most. They say this mic is for instruments, but I disagree. I'm a baritone and I find it captures the richness of my voice better than the other two. It has more emphasis on the mids while the other 2 are better at conveying the brightness of my voice. I actually like the SM57 more for my voice than my acoustic guitar. For $100 this mic really can't be beat. I would recommend it especially to beginners who want a cheap but high quality microphone.
