I ordered this to mount an ipad for my rear facing 1 year old grandson. It comes in 2 pieces and easily pops together. Installation in the car was a breeze although, a little awkward because it had to go on the front of the rear headrest support. This tablet holder was able to support a large ipad in a thick rubber type case. I truly thought it would not be able to support the weight and I was worried that it might drop out and fall on his feet but, nope, it didn't move. Not even after hitting some good old fashioned New England potholes. My grandson used to loathe riding in the car but now that he can watch a little show, movie, or listen to his music he is quite content which makes for a content and happy grandma!
