Budget intercom, but weak in volume.

Well I've had this unit for about 5 months now and although it's far from the best it's satisfactory. The first device I ordered had problems after about 2 months and is easy to fix. replaced by seller. The unit was fairly easy to install in my helmet, although I had to use an adhesive mount instead of the more secure screw mount that came with it. Program/Frequency Memory. So to put it succinctly, the battery life is acceptable, I really haven't had any issues with it. I think my biggest problem is that I'm not very impressed with the sound quality or volume. I have a Suzuki Intruder 800, I ride with a full face helmet and at cruising speed the sound mostly drowns out the sound. There is almost no bass, I understand this is a small speaker but still. Even at cruising speed, the volume is definitely an issue. I understand that the padding in my helmet absorbs some of the sound, so I tried a few different speaker placements within the manufacturer's space with little or no difference. The final conclusion: For the money and for me it does what it is supposed to do. . If you're looking for something louder or more comfortable listening, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
