I am quite a heavy computer user. I run three small businesses and I carry my laptop with me at all times, and it's usually on. I was discussing the dangers of EMF exposure with a good friend of mine who is an electrical engineer by trade and has children who spend hours sitting with their laptops and iPads on their laps. Of course, he was very concerned about frequent exposure to electromagnetic fields and told them not to put them directly on his lap, but they did anyway. So he went to the Internet to look for something to protect his children, but found mostly pointless products instead. (buttons, tags, stickers, USB plugs, pads, cases and all that other crap that doesn't do anything for radiation protection) He explained to me that when he spoke to one of these companies he found almost no evidence that their devices really were working and they can't back up their outrageous claims. Being tech savvy with some background in electrical engineering I tend to trust his experience and we agreed to help each other through this dilemma. Which brings me to Defenderpad. Found this product by accident while looking for EMF protection products and suggested my friend give them a call as he knows more about it than I do. He didn't mention that he was an electrical engineer because we wanted to hear exactly what they had to say. What made this company stand out was that when he spoke to them they knew exactly what they were talking about and described plausible physics. So we bought one and decided to do some testing together. We reproduced their independent test bed as closely as possible with the tools at our disposal and tested the shielding from very low frequencies to very high in my friends' isolation chamber. I don't want to bore you with the details, but we have been able to confirm the effectiveness of their protection. In fact, our testing showed them to perform better than their claims. We've also found that there is less background RF radiation in the space around the DefenderPad than the surrounding area (a desirable trait they don't claim). We also looked at their patent and could understand why they are so effective at shielding such a wide range of frequencies. I can only tell you that I feel safer with Defenderpad. I highly recommend this. Before you buy EMF products, make sure the companies can provide you with proof that their product works. I didn't realize how many charlatans there are on the internet before I started this journey and it's a bit scary.
