The first screen protector was prepackaged in the installation tool. Everything went perfectly. There were no instructions for installing the 2nd protector in the tool. I placed the screen protector on the tool so that it looked the same as the original, thinking that the tool would place the screen protector correctly on the phone's screen once it snapped onto the phone. That didn't happen. After the tool snapped onto the phone, the screen protector was placed too low on the screen, causing it to land where the edge of the case goes. This was discovered when the phone was placed back in its case and the screen protector lifted. No wonder the protective film wouldn't stick back on and stick properly. The case is the same for both phones. The difference between a good install and a bad install is where the install tool placed the screen protector on the phone screen.
