disaster from start to finish End. I sent in my first Fitbit a week ago because it was defective and I'm still waiting for a refund. I spent two hours chatting troubleshooting a device that wasn't working only to get it back. Okay, I figured - shit happens - so I reordered and sent the defective one back. The second device holds a charge for no more than a day. A known issue that the manufacturer doesn't seem able or willing to fix and continues to sell a non-working product. Customer service on FITBIT chat is terrible. Basically they will make you repeat everything they tell you online in the troubleshooting section - which isn't much - reset it, clear terminals etc. It took me an hour to get a support rep to do it this time have to send me another replacement. Customer service representatives ignore you and keep asking you the same questions. It's finally here that they help multiple people at the same time when chatting online. So you will stare at the screen and wait. This is hardly what I would call customer service. So now I'm waiting for fitbit number three and HOPE it works and HOPE I get a refund for the first one. Honestly, don't waste your time - because that's all you're going to do. This thing is hardly accurate, I walk up and down stairs all day and it doesn't register. I've filed a complaint with Fitbit about their customer service practices, but I don't think I'll get a response. If you need to send one back - you can (like me) insist they replace it overnight - otherwise wait 5-7 business days! UPDATE: 6 days after receiving the replacement Fitbit - this failed - horrible blinking issue where the update version keeps blinking on the screen and you can't reset it or do anything else.
