I had a small crocodile leather garlic press but wanted another for our summer house so after a thorough search of kitchen shops that had all types of garlic presses, I finally found grinding tools on Amazon that required a certain amount of force to work and/or were difficult to clean. I'm so glad I found this guy who can take a good hit and you're done. Because the easy-to-remove plate is designed to remove any debris left in the cutting grate, cleaning requires only a quick rinse. No need to brush or clean incisors. This is the only type of grinder I have ever bought and used. My first one lasted almost ten years, so it'll hold up after lots of good hits and flushes. Highly, highly recommend, and forget it takes hurricane muscle to get the job done.
