Review on 🧱 YEEBAY Building Construction Kit - Imaginative 8 Year Old Builder by Yiorgos Reynolds

We received this product as a birthday present for our 6 year old son on a Monday afternoon. It's Thursday morning when I post this. My 4 and 6 year olds have been playing "maybe" an hour with this fortress builder since Monday evening and 14-pin plugs have already broken. Kids don't even scold it - this product just isn't durable enough for the game it was designed for. Plugs break so quickly! I even broke another one while taking it apart to vacuum this morning... and I was so careful. When assembled, the bottom bars of the structure are approximately 1" off the ground (due to the size of the round connectors). As the kids crawl in and out of what they've built, the green clips will inevitably pop if they push the bars even a little. Without the two clips, the rods will not stay firmly connected, rendering the broken ones unusable. If I don't put this toy away now, it will probably end up in our garbage by Sunday. And we were very happy when we opened it! I love the concept but it needs a major quality upgrade or redesign so those jerky clips have been eliminated.
