I gave this one less than perfect star because it's a bit of a hassle to remove the cap and put it on when you need to wash it. But I found a solution. Now I've put a waterproof crib cover on it and it's a lot easier to throw it in the wash than it is to take the cover off. The mattress topper is big, but I fill it. This rug works great in his playpen. He kept falling backwards when trying to get up and this was the perfect solution to alleviate those falls. I still use it, although it's more stable now. Now he tries to pull himself up in the arena and sometimes falls on his back, which softens his falls.
