I'm a language professor and writer and have been sitting in front of a computer lamp for five to six hours a day or more since 1982. I was recently diagnosed with macular degeneration, not serious but caught my attention. I don't want to quit my job so I bought these glasses to wear prescription lenses. They work well, last and definitely help my eyes feel more relaxed. I think I'll grab a second pair to keep in my office and then buy a regular pair for when I want to use my reading tablet. They change the colors on screen a bit, with blue turning to green and yellow to orange-pink, but hey, a small price to pay for a less dangerous blue light.
