Although I have now quit smoking it was a pleasure to have this thing! Great ashtray! Before buying I threw the ash out the window and then when I finished my cigarette I shook out all the ash and the last bit of tobacco and then threw the filter/cigarette butt in the bin in my car I wouldn't scatter. My car always smelled like an ashtray. This solved the problem and eliminated the smell! If you use it in a cup holder I can't say anything bad about it! However, if you use hooks that fit the vent you can fall off from time to time as mine doesn't always stay in place very well, especially as it has become heavier/full of ash and cigarette butts! The only thing I hated was that the LED light was a little distracting when driving at night. Also, my setup never worked, just flickered most of the time, so I ended up just taping off the little button to turn it off permanently.
