Review on ROG Crosshair VIII Motherboard 802 11Ax Computer Components by Brian Elliott

I love Asus products and have been supporting them for almost 20 years. This board is beautiful, feature-packed and has an amazing build quality. I've had nothing but headaches with this platform. I'm tempted to throw everything away or sell it "AS IS" on eBay so I can go out and buy something else. I have a second board and a third processor (x2 3900x and now I'm on a 3900xt) but I'm still having the same issues with the system not posting randomly. I'm getting CPU code error 00. I can clear RAM and GPU but the code doesn't go away. Sometimes I need to drain the loop and take out the CPU, other times it just randomly starts working again. At the moment I haven't overclocked anything with changing hardware because I just want a reliable system in the end. I have a $1500 cooling system and it runs at stock speed. very sad and so damn disappointing. This has been an issue for several BIOS updates and for the last 6 months. It doesn't seem to fix anything. I currently have a Titanium power supply but have tried others in case it was bad. So bad and so sad :-(
