I have never used eye protection so I had to search the internet from which side the cup goes behind the eye (concave or convex). Some might be frustrated by the lack of directions, but it was an easy search. I found that everything is carved correctly and the cup is quite close to the eye. I had a lot of trouble getting one of these apart after losing it in my amigurumi. (Do not attach until you've verified placement.) Part of the mug isn't cut out exactly, but the extra plastic peels off easily, and the other parts don't matter since they're on the back. Overall this was a great purchase for something that I couldn't find in stores. Great price too.
