The quality of the material is very similar to the original band that came with my Fitbit Flex. The protective cover fits snugly over the connecting buckle to prevent accidental detachment of the strap. This is a big improvement over the strap that Fitbit ships with the Flex. My original Fitbit strap came off while removing my jacket for airport security. This has never happened to I-Smile. Fitbit should have thought of that when designing its strap. However, the replacement I-Smile straps I received were a bit firmer on the tracker than the original Fitbit straps. This tightness made it harder to pull the tracker out to charge, and I had to flex the strap more than usual. Consequently, both straps wore out faster than the Fitbit bands. Although the material used is of good quality, the design can be modified to improve it.
