Don't waste your time on crappy black metal coils in Napa. You will come back. I highly recommend getting the complete reamer and tap kit from CalVan for under $300. Then you get 8 exactly the same parts with a reamer, tap and tool to make sure you are in the right position. I have used them on my friend's Ford Excursion which has a 5.4 liter V8 and they work great. Make sure the RED is tight on the threads and the small bead of the JB weld is just under the head and never catches on the spark plug. This will be the last time you will have trouble with a spark plug in that hole. I've watched tons of YouTube videos and this is the best solution for @#@#!%$ Ford engines.
