It is beautifully packaged and easy to install, you just screw the ring light onto the tripod and the phone clip onto the ring light. This is the perfect size for my makeup. vanity and on my husband's desk. I use it when I do my makeup. The room my vanity is in has a dim, ugly yellow light and no sunlight coming in through the window. So as you can imagine my makeup looks great in it, but stepping out into the natural light I can see how much heavy and overdone my makeup is. My husband and daughter also use it when they hang out at work/school and need good lighting. It has 3 lighting modes: warm light 3000K, neutral white 4500K and daylight white 6000K with 10 levels of brightness, so it can be used not only for makeup and videos. I love that the tripod isn't hard plastic, you can bend the legs or wrap them around anything if you need it, and the swivel head lets you adjust it to any angle you want. It doesn't come with a block if you need to plug it into an outlet, but that's fine because I have so many extras. So if you don't have one, you should buy one. The phone clip is really strong and secure, my phone can't slip out. The picture they have is of a woman using a ring light with straight tripod legs and a phone stretched out towards her, but sometimes when I use it like that it tips over so you have to be careful. I suggest bending your legs to avoid this.
