It was a bit different than what I expected but it's my fault for not double checking the description. In general they work very well. I tried using worsted yarn but it was too thick for the needles. I ended up trying the only other gauge of thread I have which is crochet thread and it works pretty well although it's a bit flimsy for the needles. I personally like that the stitches in my practice project are a little stretched out, and some might not like it. The connecting wire is strong and the stitches slide easily over the connecting areas with minimal adjustment due to my tension. Once I have the right yarn size they will be perfect for making socks and gloves :)
