Very important; Good service!

I had low expectations of this product and was pleasantly surprised. I've struggled to maintain a decent tone in political forums where candidates are answering questions in front of a crowd. The microphones on my iPhone/iPad didn't work very well. My Canon Vixia RF800's microphone was even worse. Haven't gone live yet, but testing with a couple of TVs and radios to create background/ambient noise convinced me this unit will do the job. I will be hosting an event on 10/20/18 and another on 10/23/18. I'll get back to you with the results. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a basic desktop mic stand for these mics? They are too big for the stand I have and I don't see the stand specs that I see on Revain. Thank you, I spoke about this review too soon. When writing this review, I was only testing one bodypack, the .50, not the .30. When I tested the sound on a political forum, the 30 gauge didn't work. Fortunately, I was able to persuade participants to use handheld microphones, which worked well. After troubleshooting convinced me that the .30 was really bad (it lit up but wouldn't connect to the transceiver), I emailed support and admitted I played around for two months before testing and missed the return deadline. I asked if I could still return it for an exchange. The seller was quick to respond, telling me not to return the defective bodypack and sending me another one which I received two days later! It works great and leaves me surprised and delighted. The ladies I worked for called me a "cheap bastard" and I think there's some truth to that. I bought this product mainly because of the price. However, it works just as well as other vendors' products that cost a lot more. To be honest the sound system I built with this Phenyx stuff is awesome; I will recommend it to libraries and non-profit organizations I work with.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not everything fits
