PRO: It's really nice and impressively quiet. CONS: I have installed 5-6 ceiling fans in my life and this was by far the hardest. The printed instructions seemed to be missing important information (e.g. how to set up the remote receiver and nothing to connect to the house wiring) and the illustrations weren't as good as I expected. I searched the internet for manufacturer's installation videos, but they weren't as detailed as I needed either. I would not recommend this fan to anyone with no electrical experience. Unfortunately, my ceiling is 7ft 10" and the fan is too low in the room (I didn't use the bottom pole extension). The fan is 19 inches from the ceiling to the base of the light fixture.
