Would buy again! for my opinion
The plates are a little flimsy and sometimes melt a little in the microwave, but they are not ment for use with a microwave so that's fine. The cups can withstand coffee temperatures without melting. The utensils can withstand a dishwasher without melting. The plates only very very slightly melt in the dishwasher. The set passes the general use test. I have not tested the cups in the dishwasher. Even though it's for birthdays, the set works well for day to day use. I rate this set nine out of ten.
