So we bought a baby stand to convert a Brady crib into a crib hoping all the pieces would fit together nicely. Turns out it's not! The toddler shelf will likely fit perfectly with the mattress frame screws, creating a large gap between the side panel of the crib and the toddler shelf. To fix this we had to raise the frame up a notch, which sounds good on its own, but it meant that when reinstalling the toddler shelf it would most likely hardly get the job done (see photo). ).
