I ordered this kit with #35 chain. The chain appears to be well made. The circuit breaker works fine, but it's best if you clamp one end of it in a vise. Otherwise you don't seem to have enough hands to hold and manipulate the circuit and shift at the same time. The chain tensioner, which is designed to pull the two ends of the chain together to make it easier to insert the master link, has a small problem. There is not enough adjustment range to get the ends close enough together to install the master link. So I have to assume the same is true if I try to use it on a #25 chain. It looks like it will work on chains larger than #35. I can't say anything about durability because I haven't used the planer on which the chain was mounted yet.
