The book itself has high quality thick matte brown pages. The binding is easy to assemble. The cover is reminiscent of a movie and has no texture to prevent you from putting it on a bookshelf. However, the kit that comes with it looks cheap. The gel pens have a pen case and 8 gel pen refills, which are useless because once you put the refill in the pen, you don't want to change the refill every time you need a different color in the album. The scissors are also of very cheap quality and initially it took some effort to even get them to open. I suspect they'll ruin whatever you're trying to cut instead of providing a clean cut. Love the cute little box it came in and the stickers can help. So, in conclusion - the book itself seems good, but if you really want to make a keepsake out of it you'll need better quality accessories than what they offer here.
