So much to discover and play!

My daughter loves it so much! She loves the Color Reveal line and has so much fun exploring everything but more importantly she really loves to play with everything and there is so much in it that it really grabs her attention and she does that playing is fun. This set is very similar to the Sleepover in terms of what you get and how you can unlock everything, but she prefers this one. Like the Sleepover, you have the option to play the game to unlock everything by rotating and opening the packs in color rotation order. Of course you will run out of colors over time but she loves this game. This set uses packaging very cleverly, so be careful when opening. The top of the packaging is actually a spinner and the cardboard sides turn into a stage. Like other Color Reveal dolls, the dolls are covered in paint until washed away for their big reveal, and this set does the same with Barbie, Chelsea, a dog, and a cat. My daughter loved the bright stars all over Chelsea. After washing, pretty brunettes Barbie and Chelsea opened up. If you haven't done Color Reveal before, be prepared to scrape some of the paint off. It can stay in the joints and it's really stuck in Chelsea's heel and toe. I really appreciate that the foam dolls they released actually came out with no paint, which is not the case here. My daughter loves the clothes and accessories in this set. She really likes the beautiful and colorful wigs for both dolls. Both also have brightly colored pin-up shirts and fabric skirts. Barbie has silver heels and Chelsea has cute pink bows on her shoes. Barbie has a very fun swimsuit decorated for her birthday and Chelsea has stars on her. Chelsea also comes with pink lacquered legs and shines to the toes, or as my daughter says, in tights. Unlike other Color Reveal dolls, these dolls don't change upper body color, and annoyingly, their faces don't change under hot or cold water from the sink. The only way to get Barbie to put makeup on her skin is to rub it with an ice cube. Barbie has a bow on her sculpted hair and Chelsea has two stars, but they only change color with an ice cube. There's also a punch bowl and ladle that turn pink under cold water. There are lots of fun accessories including a buffet table and plenty of food and mugs. Colorful cupcakes have plates. There's also a camera and stand, as well as a microphone and speaker. There is also a disco ball that can spin confetti. There is a photo stand with different backgrounds to cut out. There are even party hats for pets and balloons for dolls. There are so many things to play with and so many fun accessories to play with and customize. My daughter loves it and told me to watch out if they make another one that big. For a Barbie fan this is sure to be a huge hit!

Pros
  • To open the dolls and pets, fill the tube with warm water, place each confetti-covered doll and metal pet inside (one at a time) and swirl them around - the water turns into a festive shimmering magic Scene!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
