Darker than expected with defect

The color of the honey maple is much darker than the picture. More of a medium dark brown than a lighter "honey" brown. There is also a rather sharp imperfection in the belt. This is disappointing as all the other Trafalgar belts I have owned have been of high quality with no obvious flaws like this one.
