Choke Tube Repair Kit Purchased to avoid replacing the captive choke tube AC hose. It seemed like an easy way to replace the AC throttle body on Ford cars, but it ended up not working on the car. I cut off the original AC hose to remove the perforated pipe and installed the kit and that's when the problems started to appear. The AC system was not holding a vacuum and this was due to the repair kit not being properly sealed. No amount of torque on the repair kit nuts will close the line. I called the Four Seasons Techline because the kit isn't sealing and they suggested installing new o-rings, which I did with the same results. This kit didn't work for me. I would recommend that you first purchase a hose with a captive opening. I replaced the AC hose with a captive bore hose and all is good.
