This is exactly what I was looking for to put metal railings on my stairs as they are magnetic (see video) they are very luminous bright, it's not overly sensitive, so I don't dump the charge every time I'm within 10ft of it (I have smaller ones that do just that). I should note that in one of the pictures you can see that the mounting bracket is attached off center, for some reason the magnets are off center. So when you mount it it's better to check its placement first because although it holds it up great if you're installing in a tight space and trying to center this mount you'll have to do it. it's back :) I've also attached a picture of a red indicator light, when you plug in the charger it stays red until the indicator is charged and then turns green, but with a strong battery this will take a couple of hours or more to charge charge it fully from the USB port if you let it discharge. I have to give it 5 stars because it does everything I wanted
