Review on πŸ“» Raddy SW3 4000mAh Emergency Radio: Hand Crank, Solar-Powered, FM/AM/NOAA, Flashlight, SOS Alarm, Cell Phone Charger (Yellow) - Upgraded Version by Todd Roybal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full Feature

A micro USB Lightning adapter for charging the iPhone was included which was a pleasant surprise. Four blue indicators show the charging status. Powerful flashlights and reading lamps. The motion detector feature allows it to be used as a night light at home, as noted by another reviewer (You'll need to charge the radio every three months anyway, so why not. A full charge takes 6-8 hours as advertised; the radio is arrived 75% charged). ). The radio reception is less clear than my last emergency radio, although it works quite well. A green light indicates when you are bound to a station. Easy access to the batteries. The red light turns on when charging through the handle. Bought after the handle of another brand of emergency radio broke during an extended power outage. Reading the reviews of several models and the instructions for this new radio, it becomes clear that the solar panel and crank are only for refueling and will not take these devices from 0% to 100%. Normal charging should be via USB. They also recommend 130 rpm on a clockwork load. Seems like a huge upgrade from my last radio. I will update the rating over time.
