We ordered these shoes on 3rd August based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and they were delivered quickly within 3 days. Our daughter carried them to school on September 10th. and returned home with them in a deplorable condition. According to the product specification, the shoe's upper was supposed to be made of "rough leather," but the thin brown top layer of the membrane has peeled off like plastic, revealing an unsightly dark material. at the bottom. Cheesy, cheap and at $43 each an absolute rip off. Unfortunately, as overseas customers, we cannot return this product for a refund. Previous reviewers' claims that these shoes are strong, durable, and abrasion-resistant certainly don't apply to the pair we received.
