We have used this tea towel to use clean out of the drawer to dry dishes after washing or to hang on the stove handle to dry hands etc for all purposes. Hand towel. The size is normal, maybe a little small. The packaging says the color may wash off in the first wash, but I didn't notice that. The towel washes well, dries well and has no odor. In general, microfiber is great for towels and cleaning supplies - there are many brands and types. This is a medium sized microfiber kitchen towel, maybe less "thick" than other microfiber brands. It's soft and the red and white check pattern is classic. It is worth noting that microfiber is unpretentious when washing. It cannot be added together with a batch of normal towels/fabric, without bleach/fabric softener, etc. People who have a lot of these can just wash them all together. If someone only has one or does not want to deal with different batches of laundry, this should be taken into account.
