I'm a watercolor artist and I wanted a set of synthetic cruelty free brushes that would mimic the design and quality of a Kolinsky Sable brush but without the animal cruelty. I ordered these without much expectation, because of the low price, I figured they wouldn't be very good, but thought it was worth a try. Well known brands of brushes like these tend to be very pricey, Upwards of $10 for one brush, while an authentic kolinsky sable made with animal fur, which I don't support the use of, is even more expensive for one brush. With this product, I got the whole set for under $20 and they are AWESOME! Great snap, soft and flexible, the points on the brushes are pristine and make nice fine lines, they hold water and pigment very well and the hairs do not break or shed which often happens with cheap brushes. I will be buying these for life! I'm a very happy customer.
