This was a nice addition to my 2006 F-150 which didn't have the factory stereo controls. The controls will quickly get you up to speed on the layout, and it's easy to work with in the dark. As mentioned before, if you cut the strap you will never be able to reattach it to the handlebars. Also, the sharp plastic on the steering wheel cuts into my leather steering wheel and it still turns at its tightest point. I added some 3M VHB tape to help with this, but it's the stretch of the tape that makes it move. I was disappointed that the red and green buttons didn't work to answer/hang up the phone. I've tried reprogramming it multiple times but everything seems to go wrong as soon as I tell it to skip the function. I usually just factory reset the device. It can still be used as is, but it's not 100% what I expected it to be.
