This air purifier is very thin and fits easily on a shelf. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so the kitchen and bedroom are in the same room. This air purifier is handy in that it helps eliminate odors and other contaminants that can build up while cooking and allows me to go to bed without smelling last night's dinner. I also really like that you can turn off the LED lights to make the air purifier a bit more modest. It does make some noise, but to be honest it's not too loud and I can fall asleep fairly easily as the noise is fairly constant and rhythmic. You can see that it changes color quickly when there are pollutants in the air, which is good to know. I also really like that it has a clock, an added convenience since I don't have a clock other than kitchen appliances. I had a few issues that led me to return this item. The air purifier started running very loud even after I changed the fan speed. Also, when I unplugged it to take it to another part of my apartment, it didn't turn on until I removed and reinserted the filter, which was very annoying. I still gave it three stars because I think the product is good overall, it just didn't meet some of my personal expectations.
