I think it's a bit overpriced, especially when you add a pen, keyboard, more RAM and storage and a protective case, but it's not. meets most of my wishes: fast, Win10, good battery life, great note pen, solid construction, not too big and not too small (a little less weight is always nice), great display. I won't even use it once, but it's always nice to have. I mainly use the pen for taking notes, which doesn't disappoint. The pen is responsive and there is no problem with my palm touching the screen while writing. The keyboard is good, but you'll need to look for protective cases that fit the keyboard and allow you to take full advantage of the Surface's excellent kickstand. Ports are limited (no USB-C as everyone knows) but I knew this was happening and it's not affecting my usage. BELOW - Buy what suits your personal needs. There are cheaper alternatives that may lack performance, display quality and size etc, but you may not need these things for your use and you can save some money - Surface GO could be a good alternative. Also, there is always a keyboard and pen kit to look out for.
