Works great with 2019 iMac

I wanted to add some extra TB ports to my 2019 27" iMac. This unit is great for this use. The unit does not get very hot or make a high pitched noise As others have noted. All ports work as intended. The card reader and headphone jack are handy. The speed of the port is very close to what it would have been if the drive was plugged directly into my Mac. I'd rather have the TB's front input on the Side or rear. I also wish the front power button was in a different location as I accidentally pressed the button to turn everything off and then got a message saying the drive wasn't ejected properly. I have a weird one Problem found. When I connect an Apple Bluetooth keyboard to the rear USB charging port ow, the keyboard no longer works. I think just use the iMac connector or the hub's front USB-A port to avoid this problem. Again, you must be using Big Sur or a newer version of the hub to work properly. Previously used a CalDigit TS3 plus but wasn't as reliable as this one due to stability and dropouts, nor did it have as many TB ports. Update 06/03/2010: I noticed that the rear USB ports do not tolerate high loads. When I try to plug certain SSDs into the case, they disconnect or aren't even recognized. The same drive plugged directly into my iMac's USB port works fine. I suspect Kensington is suggesting that most just use the TB ports and leave the USB ports for very light accessories (like flash drive etc.). Updated 09/13/2021 same as my 2019 iMac.
