I thought I wrote a review about it shortly after purchasing it but I don't seem to. I bought it because I needed a low profile subwoofer that would fit behind the bench seat of my regular Tacoma cab (Scosche SET10CC box). Fits perfectly in the box. I tuned it to c'fields instructions and it sounded great for almost a year. Lately I've started noticing a bit more hum from the bench, but I've just been listening at a lower volume and haven't driven the truck for the past month. Anyway, I finally had the time to change everything on my 4runner (literally everything - my Pioneer head unit, RCA cable, signal cable, power and ground and box - restored identical settings with the head unit) and noticed that it sounded terrible. I tried not to touch any buttons on the amp. Thinking this was due to the difference in cabin volume, I decided to repeat the tuning process again. At almost any volume, the subwoofer emits a humming noise. It doesn't matter what bass style he's trying to reproduce. No scuffs around, no physical damage at all. Surprisingly it was never driven hard because I needed very little in a regular taxi truck. Never derate or blast the subwoofer. I just gave up life. Up to this point I've been happy with it. So if you're willing to take a risk, you can get a decent sounding subwoofer that will last a little longer than mine.
