*Update* After further troubleshooting with the company, they sent me another phone mount they stock (the magnetic vent model) and it works great for me. It even has room for a popsocket, which used to be a big problem with other mounts. I would say they really went out of their way to make this work for me. My initial review is as follows: * Tried using this with a regular pop socket on an iPhone 7 plus. My previous mount is a flush mount and I never liked the way the pop socket pushed the phone forward. The vent mount is as secure as it gets, and I had no trouble inserting the pop socket into the mount. mount (just slide down) but then the phone can rotate freely. There wasn't enough adhesion between the popsocket and the mount. So when I place my phone vertically, it usually rotates to a horizontal position (with a slight tilt) once I go through the turn. Otherwise, it's the most functional for me. I think if it were centered it would be less of a problem, or maybe with a smaller/lighter phone. Or maybe my pop socket has become worn/slick over time, but I've only had one and that seems normal. The included sticky pads are probably fine if you want to change the position of the popsocket on your device, but for me personally, given my phone usage, it would defeat the point of having one for myself. A few days after the purchase, I received a message from Amazon. from a sender offering support for problems they've heard from users. I wrote my problem and got very fast replies. They ended up offering a partial refund and processed it quickly, which suits me as I can reattach this e.g. B. as a table somewhere, but will look for another solution for my machine.
