I had high hopes for this product when I took it out of the box - chipboard parts are heavy and feel very strong. There were problems with assembly. About half of the screw holes weren't drilled in the board - they were marked, so they were clearly drilled a bit, but nowhere near deep enough to let the screws go in. If you have a drill this should be a quick fix but I don't and I wanted to assemble it so I used screws and the supplied screwdriver to try to create the holes. It worked for the most part, but I couldn't get the screws all the way in and also wiped a large chunk of skin off my finger (and a blister on my thumb) in the process. It seems sturdy for the most part, although the screws aren't fully screwed in, but we'll see how it holds up with a full tray and my nearly 20-pound cat. My other issue with the assembly was that the entry piece in the photos and instructions was created from behind, the entry had to match the hole created from the inside and the holes for the screw holders had to be inside. Since my cat is large I considered skipping this indoors anyway, but if I were to use it I'd either create something like a litter box maze (which seems to clean a lot on my end) or have silver screws on the outside. Again, I really don't think I need this thing for my cat so I declined, but there's a lot to consider. It's looking good at the moment, but we'll see how well it holds up in actual use.
