Review on Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure With Kevlar 255/55 R18 109H summer by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Long chose between different models. Morally, I was already ready to take the Chinese RoadCruza RA1100 - according to reviews, an excellent model for the money. But they were not available anywhere for a long time, and the price tags began to grow for everything. These tires - were in second place. Moreover, in terms of off-road driving quality, according to tests, they are almost as good as the eminent BFGoodrich T / A KO2, while being cheaper than the latter. What they write - that allegedly if there are no white inscriptions on the sidewall - iscomunterfeit. Read carefully thecompany's website . Eu/ru_ru/consumer/tires/wrangler_all-terrainadventure. WRLATADV.Html It is clearly stated: "The presence of white lettering on the sidewall is characterized by the abbreviation OWL (outline white letters) in the tire description"

Pros
  • Good permeability, soft, quiet. It rides excellently in light dirt, where the highway is already washed out. But in strong mud it passes (this is not MT) Holds pressure well, can be reduced to 0.7.
Cons
  • 1. Fuel consumption has increased and acceleration has become a little worse (expectedly, the wheels are heavier than the highway) 2. An unpleasant feature is hydroplaning. In heavy rain, I almost threw myself off the track a couple of times at 100 km / h. Reduced the speed to 70 - all the rules. This has never happened on the highway before. It is obvious, because there are no obvious drains in the figure, rubber for other purposes. Just keep that in mind when driving through puddles. 3. I didn’t check it myself, but a friend claims that despite the Kevlar, the sidewall weakly holds side cuts. You have to be careful on rocks.
